Student success statement
“Physical fitness is
not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of
dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the
soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much
is not yet understood. But we do know what Greeks knew: that intelligence and
skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy
and strong.”
President John f. Kennedy
Reflection:
Many people are smart already and are not in a
healthy and strong position. I believe that everyone is smart but many people don’t
try hard enough to try to reach that intelligence. I also believe that just
because a person is not in a really healthy position that it does not means
that that person is not going to have
that intelligence. it doesn't not matter their physical way of looking.
