Ophthalmic technicians or technologists help
ophthalmologists collect data and measurements to allow the correct diagnosis
and treatment of eye diseases and problems. They work in small hospitals, big
hospitals, and in clinics.

Explaining diagnostic and treatment
procedures to patients.

$14,000 - $25,000
Education:
The educational requirement for an ophthalmic is they must
have a high school diploma (or a GED certificate). They have to at least have
two years of training programs.
