STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

REFLECTION:
IN ANY SITUATION ATTITUDE COULD BE  DIFFERENT. IT JUST VARY'S, IF THE SITUATION IS NEGATIVE IT ATTITUDE MIGHT BE NEGATIVE. NOW IF ITS THE OTHER WAY IT MIGHT BE POSITIVE. IF YOU ARE POSITIVE WITH NEGATIVE SITUATIONS THEN YOU NEED TO MAKE THE BEST OUT OF IT.

ATTITUDE

ATTITUDE
1. A settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior.
2. AttitudeLJ
·     Arrogance
·     Boldness
·     Outlook
3. A good example of attitude is when the person uses their behavior in a positive way. For example if you give a positive attitude to your mom when she asks for a favor.
4. A bad example of attitude is when the person uses their behavior in a negative way. For example, if you get in trouble because you did something wrong and your parents ground you from having your phone and they ask you for it and you give then a negative attitude when you hand then the cell phone.

Would you like to be great?
Here’s how
“Kindness is the essence of greatness”
Joseph B. Wirthlin
Reflection:

People sometimes wonder why they sometimes can get along when they actually have the answer in their hands because of how they are to people you get treated the way you treat others. Also some people say “why can I be great and get treated with kindness” maybe it’s because you don’t treat people that way. Now how to be great well if you are kind then you can accomplish that. For example of you want to be GREAT and you are always treating people in a bad way then that greatness will never happen although if you treat people good then what ever you want you will accomplish.

“Manners maketh man.”
William of wykeham

Manners are something important that every person should have. Although many people were not thought and so they act with a really bad behavior. for example is a person goes to your house and you just sit them down in a chair and don't offer nothing at all that is not having manners and instead you show hospitality

Cowardice asks the question ‘is it safe?’ expediency asks the question ‘is it politic?’ Vanity asks question ‘is it popular?’
But, conscience asks the question, ‘is it right?’ and there comes a time when one must take a position that is either safe, not politics, nor popular, but one must take it because one’s conscience tell one that it is right.
                                        -Dr. Martin Luther king, Jr.

The answers to these questions will determine your success or failure:
1. Can people trust me to do what’s right?
I believe that people can trust me to do what is right with anything because I am the type of person that no matter what I always think of what would happen if I would choose the wrong thing and I always go for the good because I have learned from my own experiences.
2. Am I committed to doing my very best?
I actually have failed when I was in my 7th grade because I didn’t care about anything but know that I am older I believe that I try my very best in some ways.
3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
I do treat other the way that I want to be treated because I believe that no one deserves to be treated in a bad way because everyone has equal rights.
If the answers to these questions are YES! , there is no ways you can fail.” -Lou Holts

“No student ever attains eminent success by simply doing what is required of him/her; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above that determines the greatest of ultimate distinction.”
Charles Kendall Adams, American historian

Reflection
Many students think that by just doing what is required they will become successful but truly it depends on what are the decisions that they make because in life you are always going to have to fallow your heart. For example, lets day that my sister is always doing what is required only but never goes that extra mile in life, she has a good chance of not becoming that successful because she never tried her best instead she just did what she had to.

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”
mother teresa

Reflection:
To me this quote is really touching because basely it is easy to say I love you to a person without meaning

It but that person will forever remember the words that came out of a person’s mouth. For example, if you are in high school and at the beginning you meet a girl that looks like you guys could be really good friends and later on in the year you guys begin to talk and after some months you guys become best friends and she is always saying nice things to you like for example that whenever you need something she will always be there for you no matter what that is being a good friend but whether that person really meant it or not it will always stay in your heart knowing she was there for you once and might be there for you a second and probably a third time JJ

dreams and goals of my life......

my progress on one of my goals is to get good grades. one thing that i am doing  to get closer to that goal is that i am starting to do most of my homework i am putting more effort onto my homework and also paying more attention to my teachers instead to talking to my friends because i have put in mind that talking will not get me anywhere in life when it comes to school, i hope that i accomplish all of my goals and that i keep on expecting more than what i can do to persuade my self to always go an extra mile on all of my goals and dreams....

To me this quote means that if you really want to get something done you have to work with someone because you will be helping yourself and someone else. Also if you work as a team it will be much better because you will get more done than being by yourself. :) :) :) :) :)
