Neurologists may work in hospitals, clinics or universities treating patients, conducting research or teaching students. They are experts at the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, including stroke, dementia and intramuscular diseases. As clinicians, neurologists examine patients and may order and interpret diagnostic tests in order to determine the best course of treatment. As researchers, they may participate in clinical studies and other research, write articles for medical journals and give presentations at professional meetings.

Education:
Similar to other physicians, neurologists must begin their careers by going to college and then attending medical school. As an undergraduate, aspiring doctor who major in a science, such as biology, chemistry or physics, will be better prepared for a medical school curriculum. Although most colleges do not have a pre-med major because medical schools do not require any specific major, some schools do offer a pre-med concentration that may include the biology, chemistry, physics and math courses required by medical schools.

Although they work in all kind of medical and surgeries.  They also differ by emphasizing the importance of the musculature system; holistic medicine, proper nutrition, and environmental factors in maintain good health.

Average Salary:  $110,000
Education:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses (including AP or IB courses) available in science, math and English. After three or four years of college, prospective physicians must attend medical school. Undergraduate requirements for admission to all medical schools include one year of basic chemistry, one years of organic chemistry, one years of biology and also one year of physics. Also medical schools require courses of calculus, English the humanities, or social science.

Operating room technician are the people that help the sergeant bring in the medical instruments they need and also prepare the patient for the operation. They may also help doctors by handing them medical instruments that are needed for surgery.

Education:
The education that they need is a high school diploma or a GED. Many colleges may offer programs in operating room technologist and may also be taken in large hospitals.

dreams and goals of my life......

my progress on one of my goals is to get good grades. one thing that i am doing  to get closer to that goal is that i am starting to do most of my homework i am putting more effort onto my homework and also paying more attention to my teachers instead to talking to my friends because i have put in mind that talking will not get me anywhere in life when it comes to school, i hope that i accomplish all of my goals and that i keep on expecting more than what i can do to persuade my self to always go an extra mile on all of my goals and dreams....

Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive substances) to detect and treat disease.  They then position equipment over patients to make images.  These pictures allow physicians to identify abnormal areas.  This helps in diagnosing illness, and also to determine what type of medication the patients will be taking…

Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school. They should also get a master’s degree.

Duties and responsibilities:
Emergency medical technicians, or EMT' s  usually work in terms of two in specially designed ambulances. They provide immediate life or limb saving medical treatment at the scenes of accidents and injuries as well as transport casualties to hospitals emergency rooms for further care. The job is both physically demanding and stressful. Emergency decal technicians often respond to:
·     Automobile accidents
·     Heart attack
·     Gunshot wounding
·     Unscheduled childbirth
·     Drowning’
·     Other serious medical emergencies
Average salary: $25,000-$37,000
Educational requirements:
Students must have high school diploma (in some areas GED certified may be substitute)in order to become an emergency medical   technicians. Driver’s education, health, and science courses are strongly recommended and may require before enrolling in some training programs.
 Basic emergency medical technician training includes about 100-120 hours spent in the classroom and 10 hour in hospital’s emergency room. Emergency medical technicians are required to pass state licensing or certification test and participate in continuing education programs. Many emergency medical technicians earn associate degree in their field.

 Most dental schools require entrants to have a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in the sciences.
